Malama Mililani "Blessings Closet" - Collection Time

Malama Mililani is the name of our community outreach ministry, and "Serve Sundays” are what we call the days that we serve others in lieu of holding a traditional Sunday Service. In both these ways, we endeavor to show God's love to our neighbors and make a difference in our community.

You may recall the free Malama Mililani family bingo night we hosted last year, or past Serve Sundays where we cleaned and beautified the school & surrounding park, and gifted Kipapa teachers with class supplies & handwritten notes of prayer and encouragement.

On September 29th, we will combine the best of both worlds and have a Malama Mililani event on a Serve Sunday! This unique event will take the form of a "Blessings Closet", where anyone in the community can come to "shop", taking home items that they need-- for free! (Picture a garage sale where everything has a price tag of $0). 

To prepare for this event we are looking for new or gently used items such as clothing, household items, canned goods-- really anything that you are looking to let go of that could be a blessing for someone else!
